Date Night

Besides the fact that I am the greatest lover of all time....why would David stay with me?  

I'm pretty sure he knew I had some issues upon our introduction.  

My excuses for not going on proper dates or interacting with other couples have gone something like this:

• I'm too in love
• I'm too sick
• I'm too pregnant
• I'm nursing
• I'm too pregnant
• I'm too tired
• I'm too fat
• I'm too tired because I'm fat and pregnant
• I'm too fat because I'm pregnant and tired

Which brings us to 3 years of "I'm tired" and most recently "We're poor".  

Tonight we really wanted to see Avatar.  

Well David really wants to see it, and I really want David to see it. 

I would even be happy if he went with someone else.  

We don't have anyone to watch the kids.  

This isn't the kind of thing where you think..."aww that's cute that you stay in and cuddle."  

It's more like.... "How in the hell have we not been on a date in three years...not even to celebrate our anniversary????"  

Like I mentioned before, thank goodness I married my best friend and that our indoor activities are mind blowing.  

Instead, we will play Super Mario Bros, eat pizza, drink champagne, and flirt lots.  

I really don't know how he does it.
